USDT vs USDC: which network should you use?

Every $1 verification, loan payout, and repayment on CryptoLoan moves in USDT or USDC — both dollar-pegged stablecoins, so the coin choice itself doesn't affect how much you owe. What it affects is speed and network fees, since each one runs on more than one blockchain.

USDT — Ethereum, Tron, Polygon, or Avalanche

Tron is the one most people pick for USDT: fees are usually a fraction of a cent and transfers confirm in seconds. Ethereum is the most widely supported but can have the highest network fees during busy periods. Polygon and Avalanche sit in between — fast and cheap, though you'll want a wallet that already supports sending USDT on that specific network.

USDC — Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, or Avalanche

Solana plays the same role for USDC that Tron plays for USDT — near-instant confirmation, minimal fees. Ethereum again offers the broadest wallet and exchange support at the cost of higher gas. Polygon and Avalanche are solid low-fee middle grounds here too.

So which should you pick?

One important detail: always double-check you're sending on the exact network shown on your deposit screen. Sending USDT built for one network to an address expecting a different network is a common way to lose funds permanently — crypto transfers can't be reversed.
