Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This is a plain-language summary of what data CryptoLoan collects and why. It is a template and has not been reviewed by a lawyer for any specific jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR/CCPA) — it does not replace independent legal advice.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: username, first and last name, email, phone number, country, city, postal code, and a hashed password.
  • Identity verification (KYC): date of birth, occupation, income, street address, and a photo or scan of your government-issued ID or passport.
  • Loan and transaction data: loan amounts, status, repayment history, and the wallet addresses you use to verify, receive, and repay loans.
  • Basic technical data: standard web request data (such as timestamps) generated by using the site.

2. Why we collect it

We use this information only to: verify your identity before lending (KYC), decide on and administer loan applications, calculate and track what you owe, send funds to the wallet you provide, prevent fraud, and communicate with you about your account and loans.

3. What we never do

We do not sell your personal data or ID documents to third parties, and we do not use them for advertising. Your ID document is only accessible to the team reviewing your application.

4. Blockchain data

Cryptocurrency transactions you send to or receive from CryptoLoan are recorded permanently and publicly on the relevant blockchain — this is a property of how crypto networks work, not something CryptoLoan controls or can undo.

5. How long we keep it

We keep account, KYC, and loan records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after, to meet basic recordkeeping and fraud-prevention needs.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to review or correct the personal details on your account, or ask what data we hold about you, by reaching out through your account once signed in, or by emailing [email protected].

7. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, not in plain text. ID documents are stored on our servers and are not made public. As with any online service, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of CryptoLoan after a change means you accept the updated policy.
